My 22" 7Saum barrel runs at 3005 fps with 67.5gr of 2217. A 24" 7RM should easily be able to do that surely.

Chopped my T3 back to 22" and put a DPT can on, at 24" with the 162 AMax and N560 I was getting 3090 fps, after the chop and can the same load produced 3123 fps ! Not what I was expecting, grouping...

mate im thinking some of these loads must be warm considering barrel length. ive got a 23 or 24 running 2225 162 amax 2964fps. 73.5 grains in a tikka t3. no idea

My first PST, the reticle would rotate when the magnification was changed. It wasn't much but it moved all the same so took it back and replaced no probs. Replacement one was sweet as.

ADI 2217 72gns mag length seat the 162's and your good to go. Will get around 3000 fps. Mine shot bugholes @ 100m

71-72gr 2217 witha magnum primer is a typical load with 162-168gr projectile. Will be about 2950fps in a 24" barrel. You might possibly need to down load a grain or two if seating the projectile to...
