My favorite rings are the Nightforce Ultra Lite ones. Both NF ultralite and Hawkins tactical rings come in a .885" height. Vortex PMR/Seekins rings (they are the same) come in a .92" height.

Except for the attachment issues and possible zero shifting, the magnetospeed is still recognised as the most accurate device for MV. All the others calculate MV.

If you have a budget in mind that would help provide some input on options. Agree with kiwi303. The trend is FFP and mil and for a new shooter if you’re not set on moa, I’d go mil from the start....

Got this back from Mark at Waitaki Engineering today. Shortened it right up so now it's about 15" I had to engineer some Talley rings for it and has a wee Leupold 2-7x33 on it. It's almost comical...

What do you want from the bipod? Do you want something super light weight to leave attached while stalking, or do you want something stable for shooting groups and can just clip on when you need to?
