I buy Hornady Training Ammo (Brass cased) and just keep the brass. Can get them for just under $1 per round when buying bulk, and its good brass.

Got some more pancetta on the go this morning...cooked up the rib bones with some orange juice, Lea and Perrin sauce and some brown sugar for lunch...they were quite good!!

Welcome to the forum! You say you've not done much shooting? In that case you might be best going for .223 or something with light recoil so you can get plenty of range time without developing...
