    I have just replaced mine for the same reason.... it is not worth getting them cleaned and re gassed. (depending on the scope value) Mind you my old one took a beating on a rock with my full body...

    Just make sure the area you take a liking to can be hunted, as you know not all DOC land allows hunting :) Some areas are strictly for hugging trees ;)
