Varget/2208 is a bit slow burning for 40gr, better off with BM2 or AR2207 My point is that there's nothing in it inside 200 (except a 400fps speed advantage to the heavier bullet by 200 meters)...

Iv used varget with 95 and 100 gr which should be too fast and got good velocitys and great accuracy. Should be even better with lighter weight projectiles. Sent from my GT-S5360T using Tapatalk 2

Sounds like carbon for sure. Bronze brush and KG1 or SLP Carbon Killer. Nylon brushes are no good IMO to get rid of carbon properly. Same with Hoppes if your serious. Soaking maybe, but I could never...
