    Shooting of a rest set up is very good for learning sight picture and trigger control. It'll improve your general shooting quite a bit. That scissor jack idea is real neat! I'm going to copy it...

    mix the egg in a glass, put on both insides of bread, let soak in. kind of egg bread, cooks evenly well. my favourite thing to do.

    Yes definately go for the FMJ's but remember to have a solid backdrop as they will richochet on occasions, I used some on goats so that I could recover more meat but they ran a little more than usual...
