    Arg, saw the pic on FB, was not sure if it was recent. M should still be able to shoot if we put a bipod on :D And I'm sure we can divvy up kit so he does not have to carry anything in or out.

    Didn't get a photo unfortunately but managed to decapitate a peacock at 460m with the .308 at Rushy's this afternoon. Looked like it had been taken to with an axe right below the skull.

    I was about to say that the .17HMR (20gr load) is fine as I have used them heaps around Rotorua but I see you are from Dunedin. If you are shooting down there, you tend to shoot way longer distances...

    Never, been hunting the area since i was 18 (quite a while) no problems.Only met good buggers in the bush. did have the car broken into once but hey that happens everywhere.
