    Walk up the Waitaha Valley to Kiwi Flat Hut where you can climb up to Scamper Torrent Hut if you like but before you even get to Kiwi Flat you should be bumping into goats

    I believe the area around Scamper Torrent hut in the upper Waitara has goats (more than likely deer too), but looks to be a fair walk to get to the hut.
