   I use one... and lock the pod solid, I find most of the long hunting shots I take are not shot from flat ground so it is imposable lay behind the rifle the same each time to load the bipod the same...

   That is what I run....Don't form fire at the range...... hunt and form fire, One it doesn't cook the barrel from to many shots to fast, two its fun :P I run the 87gr Vmax and it blows shit to bits...

    Some of those shots are far from good kills, a couple will take a long time to die and no effort put in to finish them off with the ones still in full veiw, the second or third goat with the gut shot...
