    Hornady 145 gr ELDX good for long range, fast opening but will get the job done, most cup and core type projectiles in the 130 to 150 gr will work well in the 270 win.

    "Insize" have been a good mid price option for me. I get them from Trade Tools. If you have the money, Mitutoyo is pretty much the gold standard.
