    Had a golf one for years with no issues except for a slightly dull viewfinder. It will range accurately to just over 1000 metres and has bright orange panels that help you find it in long grass.

    They used to start with a block of steel and mill off all the bits that didn't look like a rifle is a description I've heard for that kind of workmanship.
