I’m a big fan of the 6.5 caliber, 6.5 x55, .260 Remington, 6.5 Creedmoor. I got my first 6.5x55 in 1987 a Sako Hunter. This is an awesome caliber for any of our deer species. Those high BC 6.5...

Yeah shot 11 or so pigs so far, it’s very quiet and soft to shoot for what it is

Good on you, that's an ideal setup you have bought until you decide you want to shoot things a loooooooong way away. Great shopping. Second, I thought the first rule of Fist club is that there is...

I favour 139 Lapua Scenar for target work and 143 eldx for the field. Both ahead of ADI 2209 powder. Targets here @100 yds from my Tikka have been shared before, but worth showing again for newbies....

A lot of good info here. Im gonna stick my neck out and say that if you settle on a load from above, using either 143 -147 projectiles, ELDX or DM, that chances are very high that it will perform...

When you're new to something there are no stupid questions. A better way to look at this is what are your requirements? What are you likely to be shooting - targets or animals? How far away are...

That’s one hell of a good buy, can’t go wrong with that, I run 143gr ELDX, 129 gr sst, and 120 PPU bullets in my 20 inch barrelled Tikka and have found that all these projectiles seem to shoot to the...

Fantastic first rifle, beautiful scope as well. Before I bought my .308 I saw on trademe a wooden stock, 6.5x55 tikka with a Greystone integrally suppressed barrel... I hesitated, not knowing how...

Yeah I haven't (yet) joined NZDA, struggle with enough time to do other things with a couple of 11/13yr old kids! The bid advantage of MISC and main reason I joined is that you can access...
