I went for the 20 inch version and 12 . 1 twist on purpose as it gave me more options for the cut down length , pumped to get it back, scope it up and start using it. They are a cool design .

308 is louder in my experience but then it's burning more powder and pushing a bigger bullet faster, just the same as a 338 is louder again. Also 300 uses pistol powder and burns it up in a 12.5"...

Extra lows in 1" work with scopes with 40mm objectives perfectly such as the Leupold 3.5-10×40.. The lows are fine too giving about the same height as Optilock ringmounts.

A 200y Zero (or an inch or 2 high at a hundy) is actually a perfect bush range Zero. Bang on at a hundred means you're shooting low at all bush ranges.
