People are the biggest treat to native wildlife period. More PC BS Why don't we start discussing getting rid of farmland and pine plantations, turning them back to native forest and fencing it all...

If it's mainly goats go for 223. Quality ammo is dirt cheap. If you actually want to start shooting deer (ie more than a couple a year) then I'd get a 308 - you can get dirt cheap ammo for the goats...

I'll chuck a vote for 308 as your first center fire with a 20" barrel plenty of great rifles new or secondhand. If you have a look around you can pickup 308 ammo for same price as 223. Get some...

Hey MightyBoosh, I agree with the guys who say "don't go too big too soon" but if you've done a lot of shotgun shooting you will likely know how recoil-sensitive you are. I'd say it's between the...

The hmr case is based on the 22 magnum. If you want range the pill has to be moving and therefore powder levels and noise are the consequences. A suppressor reduces noise well which well improve...

Well it wasn't too hard, I only shot one deer in 2015. Went out on Friday with a mate. Forecast wasn't great but I hoped we might catch a slight break in the weather. Saw 6 deer in total, but only...

You can always try another brand but a 2inch plate at 70mtrs is a dead rabbit 100% of the time. Nice going mate.

My fully suppressed Ruger 10/22 shoots 3 holes touching at 25m, and a 26mm group at 75m, using CCI subsonics. BUT, every rifle has an ammo brand that it prefers over all others. You need to...

the rise is created by the initial aim point. if you hold a rifle barrel perfectly level and fire it there will be no rise, just drop. The scope sits above the barrel, the scope always looks...

The projectile initially rises in its trajectory from the barrel and then falls in its trajectory as the force of gravity takes effect across distance travelled. Therefore there are two points (one...
