Hunted as a kid and a teen - rabbits, hares, goats, and got a deer in my sights once in the Ureweras. Keen to get back into it to feed my growing family. Dont mind starting out again with goats - good eating if you know what to do!

    Hi there - I headed into the hapuakohe range today for a hunt (southern most block) - have a 223, no dogs. Did a six hour round trip to the hapuakohe summit - plenty of browse on coprosma on the way...
