Here's one me and Bunji shot a while back down there, took a herculean effort to drag it back to his jetboat, lucky we had his dog's to help with the carry. Can't remember which gun he brought but...

The last sighting was only a few years ago 2020 (unconfirmed) But interestingly the guy was a pilot and an ex moose hunting guide in Canada so actually knew what a moose looked like! A very cool...

I went down this path years ago. Started with a 308 went to 300wsm. Had a WSM for close to 20yrs. Shot deer from 20m to 750m. A great caliber to own, my favorite was 200g eld x. I have now gone back...

Lucky you wont ever have to use it then chief. Rifles like this are tools for me, not ornaments. So, if I want a light workhorse thats weather proof and accurate, this is it.

A clip from the Arken Zulus day/night 'scope. 7.30pm last night. Range 152 yards. Starts at 5 power, flicks to maybe 20 and then back down to 12. Not too bad for $1,400. Apology for the dog panting...
