The trouble is. When forest and bird start campaigning for a national policy, they are after total eradication on all lands. Their push for policy will build distrust. What is needed is not only...

The pads a couple of mm high but looks to fit the stock correctly, just put on slightly off. I doubt it's the problem though

I have summarised Mr ducks quacking. Without patterning you will go in ever decreasing circles till you disappear. Only when you know where can you look at changing things like lop, height of cheek...

A carbine is just a short rifle for cavalry. These were only useful for cartridge rifles from the mid 1800's. A short rifle for hunting is a Stutzen. These date from at least the middle 1700's. One I...

It's part of the bull shit culture. Anyway, most so called "bush pigs" never go bush hunting their entire lives. It's a fad more than a necessity. No one called a Model 7 with a 18/20" barrel a...

Yes. Ive used tree lucerne as an early cover crop - attracts birds immediately. But deer would slaughter it 'cos it's quite a good forage tree.

Gorse is a very long term nurse crop, and really should be relegated to large remote locations that people desire to return to native (or any other tree that takes their fancy). Small pockets of...

340 yards, with 74 Targex again. The tip over was a bit slow from a central shoulder shot so it got another one from steep down hill between the shoulders. That did it. I spend way too much time...

I have to say, I'm guilty of succumbing to the "oh my God, but the recoil" fraternity. I avoided 308 a long time..considered 303B to be on the cusp, and 270Win definitely out of bounds. Got a 308 or...
