Is it the Perfecta? Shoots well enough for me, but I'm no Rogee. Also bought some .308 in a moment of weakness from Thief City. $60 for a box ("this is a really good deal mate"). Exactly the same...

Micky Duck liked post by Friwi On thread : Fast Twist 222
A friend of mine was shooting 600 yrd targets with a custom 218 bee ackley loaded with 90 grainers. It was a loooong barrel with a fast twist and appropriately throated. The 222 would be interesting...

I'd be checking out what DELTA NZ has in their range that might fit the price bracket. Or look around for a second hand VX5 2-10, with every body clambering to buy the latest and greatest dial...

Micky Duck liked post by Puffin On thread : 50 plus Years using Australian Rifle Powders
Same with IMR4740 here, the nice diethyl ether smell changed to something less pleasant and the interior of the tins rusted out. I had a few tins too, originally from Din no doubt but I think mine...

Friwi is a bloody perfectionist, which is a common theme at DPT by all accounts. The angle at which the crown is cut when using a suppressor is important, it helps reduce build up of powder deposits.

For a quick update, I got my rifle suppressed by DPT and they did an outstanding job! I’m quite detail oriented and definitely a perfectionist, so I was probably a frustrating customer for Rick and...

236082 I thought we used IMR 4064 at first but this must be pretty old. 236083 I did start with the silver 180gr but soon went to 130 which were really good. Ive got half a dozen empty boxes...

Jhon, Reloaders have #14 Lee shellholders in stock for $16. They aren't rare. Take to them with a belt sander safe in the knowledge they're easy to replace.
