I'd be pissed if I paid $390 and got that back. Bloody poor finish. He couldn't even run some fine grit paper around the edges corners by finger just to tidy/debur it. I've bedded a dozen different...

No bitching or moaning from me Micky, just a simple question on the quality of finish one might expect from a professional gunsmith.

Im no expert but considering materials time and convenience if you cant do it your self that sounds cheap, its all relative. I know a lot of people expect a ferrari at a lada price....just shoot it

Thanks Micky. That gives me a bit more confidence. I think old mate is going to enjoy his trip with favorite uncle tomorrow.

I have long thought that we need a “Fuck me dead” emoji for just such occasions.

Oh my lord. If a belt of linked .762 constituted a prohibited magazine, would that mean that there would need to be a unique identifier / serial number on every link?

By definition it's not a magazine - but that does mean that virtually every Cadets unit now needs to replace at least one cadet's trophy and every aviation museum is now holding prohibited items...

Ha a big part of PRS style shooting is to carefully read the COF. Nothing said about standing at 300 - its 100 only and while a 250 diameter gong is challenging, I'm not the best offhand shooter but...

Micky Duck liked post by Tentman On thread : Steel "Dinner Plate" Shoot
I do agree that folks find standing shooting more challenging, but the pest destruction guys I hang out with can reliably shoot rabbits way past 100 with sticks, so 250mm is gettable. The top 2 or...

Micky Duck liked post by Tentman On thread : Steel "Dinner Plate" Shoot
Another way of thinking might be to have only two shots at each distance with the first one being under a time limit and worth more points. Most guys at a range do like to shoot more rather than...
