    Meet a guy in Harare that had a hyena as a pet guard dog. Never got robbed. Had trouble getting staff but he never got robbed:) Was tame enough you could pat it.

    back in eighties bred ridgebacks - my bitch was a great guard dog - but very gentle with kids - absolute no bullshit if she had to be - but then again my two dogs were really very soft - on pigs...

    223544 corgi pretty loyal solid and a big bark , also you cant run without ankles . Also I think with the smaller breeds you can pick them up as you get older and weaker
