I was hunting in Canada a couple of weeks ago with a young guy who is in to pack rafting. He's also a smoke jumper so likes living on the edge. His latest craze is parachuting in to a remote spot,...

You are young and relatively undamaged (well you were till you just read the above post:omg:) Hopefully will learn from all the deaf c@nts on here: get a suppressor.

I dont think a suppressor is necessary. See an animal, stalk it, one shot, bang, flop, job done. Rinse and repeat. Save the money and invest in some decent bino's, will help you harvest more animals...

If you hunt with a dog, then it becomes a lot more important. If it's just you, then you can save your hearing (and some cash in the short term) by using a range of hearing protection.

Been happy with my new Bushnell TrophyXLT. Sure it's not top spec but the glass is top notch, with clear picture out to the edges and good contrast. Take a look at a Bushnell prime or engage 2-7 at...

I would upgrade the scope and rings first.

Have had/polished about 20 JW15s for myself and others. Worst of them shot slightly over 1" groups at 50m, best is mate's one at 0.3s. Almost all shot sub half inch at best and averaged close to that...

So maybe hasn't been threaded true to the bore, seen plenty of them with off center bores...

So terrible it's almost certainly not the rifle. Baffle striking in a suppressor, scope mounts are loose as a goose, or scope internals are rooted.

I have a bunch of 22s I love. But I recently picked up a Rossi 17HMR for $349 (new from GC), 18" barrel, threaded. Chucked a cheap scope on it and it shares the 22 suppressor. Sure the ammo is a bit...

#7 try it without suppressor #8 try it with subsonic ammunition. #9 borrow a scope for day.....as long as its reliable it will do... 10-15cm at 25 yards...does it actually have ANY rifling in...

With minimal TLC/mods, most Norincos can shoot well -despite- the cheap manufacture. The one I did for my nephew outshot his father's deluxe CZ. mudgripz Comments?
