First up, the Swiss Gold pour-over filter. I used to lug stovetop espresso makers into the bush, but the output-to-weight ratio is ridiculous. Plungers are messy and make a second-rate brew IMHO....

While it was light, the Swiss Gold took up more space in my overnighter pack than I liked. My bro-in-law was into Chemex, and I started playing around with a low-tech version. I made my setup from...

I know this was supposed to be about beer can stoves, but it has evolved into back country coffee making equipment and that's something I'm pretty passionate about, so I'm running with it. Here's my...

AKA ‘penny stove’. Yeah, I was tempted to try that one, but reckoned it wouldn’t be long before I lost the coin. I also want the ability to cook for different lengths of time without having to refill...

I’ll be keen for anything from a pub catch-up to a trip once we’re allowed out. I’m non-essential but able to work from home, so no down time for me... just trying to hold down a full-time job on 80%...

It was my T7 mat that Moa Hunter tried, and I went out and bought 2 more. I really rate them for performance vs. cost. They weigh more than a Neo and may not last as long, but at about 1/7 the price...

I'm in the exact same place, csmiffy. Have loaded my first batch, just trying to find a chance to make it to the range. TARGEX recommended I try AR2209, and if that didn't work, try AR2213. I have...
