About Mr Browning
Biography:
Bought up in Central Otago shooting bunnies since 12 with my Dads single shot bolt-action Winchester. Bought a BL22 when I got into pest control. Now I live in Christchurch as a small business owner and still manage to get out onto a permission inland from Christchurch and enjoy plugging away at hares and rabbits when I can to help with fitness and keep the eye in. Recently increased my armory with a Ruger American .17hmr and came onto this site seeking assistance in sighting the scope in. Met a great bloke who helped me out and now am really enjoying the discussion and people of this board. Thank you, if I can help anyone out I will try.
Location:
Christchurch
Interests:
Shooting, fishing and more
Occupation:
Owner of small IT company.

ChrisF Save yourself shit loads of time effort and have it sandblasted. A wire wheel on a drill will take you bloody ages and won't do anywhere near as good a job. Once sandblasted or...

Been rocking the Pard NV008 for quite a while now. Mounting it to the .22 with a 30MOA mount did away with the common gripe of needing to shim the Pard supplied mount. It's been a solid performer,...

I went in there, pretty hard barren country, few good faces (not hard to work out where they are on a map..) so stopped there and set up camp on the tops opposite. Had a snooze and when I woke up it...

And being a dedicated scope means it’s much the same as a normal set up. Went from a clip on nv unit behind a scope to the pard, and it’s far less clunky Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

All good with my oxy-acetylene gas setup. I also have a metal working lathe for the crown and threads. It'll be fine (once I settle the legal aspect :) )
