Just downloaded the NZ game caller app. Can't tell you if it will work on game but definitely works at pissing off the Mrs.

Just go hunting for deer, stalk quietly up a river bed... Guarantee you'll find at least one pair to wake the entire valley

My sister has recently bought a pair of these binos and seeing as they seem very popular and are often reccomended by others as a good entry level binocular, I have swiped them "new out of the box"...

Took Rusty out for his first hunt a few weeks ago. Def keen on that deer scent! No luck but good to see him put the training into actual practice! Need to get my hands on some skin to get him...

While accuracy is very important speed is important to. If your speeds are to slow you may as well go to a smaller caliber. No good running a 180 gr in a 300 magnum at 2800 fps when a 30 06 will do...

My go to 7mm projectile is the 140SGK, it is very effective on any game. I load for the 7-08, 7x57, 7mm RM, and a few years back for the 280. It seems to work for me with speeds anywhere between 2600...

Go with the slow load. SSTs are quite soft and will perform well. I reckon the 120 nosler BT would be worth a try for sure.

120 and 140 B Tip both shoot very well in the 7 08 that I load for with 2208 at 3000fps and 2820fps but with a 20" barrel. Sent from my CPH1903 using Tapatalk

That's a big difference in group sizes. If it were 0.5 vs 0.7 moa then I would maybe choose the speed but not for that bigger difference. Then again, it is a group size. If you are hunting, it is...

Not unless you reload really fast as well Your "slow" load is doing standard 6.5x55 speed with the same weight bullet. No one really complains bout the swedes hitting power but everyone talks about...
