Many years ago I had a lovely Tikka .222 rifle. I reloaded for it, and my old mate put me onto using .22 magnum projectiles. At that time you could buy a bag of them from Gun City. Was about 500 in...

Greetings nor-west, You need to measure the twist. The .222R has been around a long time so the twist is unlikely to be faster than 1 in 14" and could be slower. I recently loaded some 55 grain...

Got both back from Leupold/NIOA today. Just on 2 weeks, so great service and turnaround. Also gave me a new set of lense caps and Allen key after misplacing the last set. Great customer support.

Firedot reticles are exceptionally good for bush, low light and bush edge hunting. I have several Leupold scopes (VXr, VX5 and VX6) with firedot and really rate them. I find the firedot also helps...

Hands down a Svord peasant knife. Hold their edge super well. Only down side is no locking mechanism however if you use them correctly they work really well. Kinda reiterating what Beavis said.
