Moral of the story is be very careful about who you choose to hunt with if anybody. There are plenty of dickheads who should not have firearms licences.

Hunt first and last light. I.e the first two hours of light and the last golden hour are ALWAYS best. You can get lucky and see deer in the middle of the day moving about but its not the norm.
