I experimented with mag hammered soft points vs new(interlocks) no discernible change in groups 100y even 300y. at 650y seriously flattened ones were about a foot low of new.

and that you are not trying to crimp and seat by having the seating die set to low. this can push the shoulder out enough to make tight chambering.
