Tried all sorts of bullets in my vixen and have settled on 55gn Speer soft point flat base 21.6 gn 2207. Fantastically accurate and kills everything I hit in the right place.

Welcome! You will have to be selective with your shots with the 222 but it will do the job if you do pick your shots. (I know guys that have shot tahr and wapiti with their 222s.)
