Also to be fussy, make sure they have treated/painted where they cut through the metal work. Dont want a rusty surprise in a couple of years.

Looking at the compatability chart, I'd say the the .338 lapua models would hold up just fine, just the bore size is for .338 rather than .30 cal. Maybe email them direct? They were quick to reply...
