    100% Can be simple and cheap or complex and expensive. Can easily get started with Lee Classic, just add components. Add a scale and it gets better. Costs? Here is a calculator.

    Anneal it. Lube it, inside and out. Just to add. IMO there is way too much BS out there about lube. For 30 years I just used 90 diff oil for 30.06 Now I'm using coconut oil. No issue.

    "what affect does shortening the cartridge have on accuracy, given the projectile will be further away from the rifling." Personally that's all I would worry about. Keep it consistant if you can....

    @ Micky Duck Perhaps I gave the wrong impression. We agree. If shooters are loading to the max or more. IMO they purchased the wrong rifle.
