Slightly envious of the guys for who lockdown gives them extra project time - no such luck here. Still, managed to pull this together on Sunday: https://i.imgur.com/BgIRdZ9l.jpg ...

Thanks for the update. A bit disappointing, but no-one's fault; not Tuatahi's and certainly not yours so no need to feel guilty! Personally, I probably won't wait because the 'at least 12 months'...

Inletting of barrelled action and bottom metal has gone as far as I'm going to take it on the mill. Time to break out the inletting black and sharpen up the chisels and scrapers for the final...

One more post and this’ll be up to date with where I’m actually at. If I was writing this chronologically, there should actually be a post in between thinking the pattern stock was done and then...

Not Totara anyway; this is the across-grain pattern I was looking for. Quite distinctive: 174634

Some great work going on there. If a gun tap would do the job for you (it is a through hole you're talking about if I understand correctly?) I see CarbideNZ have M5x0.5 for $14 and M6x0.5 for...

Moa Hunter liked post by PaulNZ On thread : Bedding for "specialist" 22's
Sounds like you've identified a problem and have a plan to fix it. Better bedding may or may not help, but done properly it should never hurt. For your specific question around .22's needing a...
