Optics quality is paramount at magnification ranges out past 16 really. When you are pushing 32 x then it has to have the very best glass. I suspect the optics of the Nikko are not up to the task,...

And this is why I like my Leupold laser rangefinder. It calculates the True ballistic range. e.g. 400yd actual distance to target at 40 degree incline. rangefinder shows TBR of 335yd. Dial for 335 yd...

If you are going to mount them, don't attach them above the windscreen. In foggy, raining, and dusty conditions, it will radically reduce your vision. Spots might be ok, but flood will be terrible.

Don't use aquaseal to glue two pieces of neoprene together. It doesn't have enough stretch, and will tear apart. Use this stuff (https://wettie.co.nz/shop/wetsuit-accessories/wettie-neoprene-glue)...
