Born in Auckland. Hunter and shooter (professionally and recreationally) for 54 years. Was actively involved in SAR as a park ranger, and SAR Adviser and Search Coordinator for NZ Police (35 years). NZ Mountain Safety Council bushcraft and firearms safety instructor (22 years).

    I always try to find a good horizontal log , at the right height, not too thick, not to thin , dry if possible to sit on and feel at home when I m doing a number two.
