The velocity loss is of little concern to me for a bush hunting rifle. I've shot plenty of animals with .22wmr, .22hornets, .222 and .223. Cutting a .223 barrel down will reduce the velocity down...

Its an IOR 2-12 x 32. 35mm main tube so plenty of elevation and windage adjustment. Eye relief - 3.5" I managed to get this on the AR without requiring a cantilevered scope base. 42816
