Interested in this thread. I am still waiting for my T3x to come back from having a carbon barrel put on it. They said 4-6 weeks. Currently sitting at 10 weeks and the barrel still getting shit done...

You could do a lot worse for the money: they shoot straight and a good all rounder albeit a little heavy (depending on what you are into). Would certainly rather put a Howa through a bush bashing...

Definitely fit a suppressor.. DPT overbarrel are the local standard for an effective and lightweight hunting suppressor.

It is a reloaders caliber if ever there was one,if you dont reload perhaps look at other calibers. I dont like the T3 myself but it is a quality rifle for the money.

2506 or 243 or 260. The 260 and 2506 will give you more options and range down the track if you want to target bigger beasties and longer ranges. But any of the 3 will do very nicely.
