Biography:
Born in Northern Ireland. Moved to NZ in 2005. Been hunting since I was big enough to follow my Dad. Shot mostly gamebirds, foxes and bunnies in UK. Mad keen fly angler which brought me to NZ. Got back into hunting here after a boys weekend in 2010
Married with 2 kids, both grown up. My wife's pretty good at letting me out but usually other stuff takes up the weekends.

    I have the instinct. Use it to track my daily step count, my dog walks and any hill walks (also load into strava). I've used the sight n go function too. It was very good at helping me find a deer.

    Love my 3030 Marlin 336 TS with XS rail and Sig Romeo 4 reddot. Only a 16inch barrel. Fits nicely in a lockable drawer in the truck. Slim and short for the bush. 3030 doing what it was designed...

    My 1:12 tikka M595 loves 50gr Vmax, and is average with 55gr. I can put 5x 50gr into a wee fingernail size cloverleaf at 100m. 55gr about 20-25mm. 55gr SP, 1.5 inches

    Have a Z3 Brh 3-10x42. Great glass. Have used the ballistic recticle to shoot chamois at 328m, deer to 400m, chamois at 450m. Does the biz and not heavy. Clear class.
