Been thinking of getting one myself, but can't justify it as I use my shortened 223 for nearly everything. I was thinking 308, a red dot for bush hunting and DPT suppressor would make a nice set up.

I have done similar, lined up on a nice chamois buck, he was nice and close so no need for playing with the twisty bits, bang! Chamois stood in the same spot looking at me, put another one down range...
