   Private dam in Onga Onga. Last two trips produced 25 parries and 28 parries, up the Tuki tuki river. Have not shot many mallards this year, but not really targeting them.

   The free version of strelok is good. Make sure you measure and alter the preset scope height variable from 1.5" to an actual measurement. The difference makes a big difference in my experience.

    I have had Rob Beard at Wild Game Salami's in Hastings make duck salamis for me for 5 years. They are the bomb! He mixes the duck with pork fat and smokes the salamis for 16 hours over native timber....
