Yeah - I had to look up 'Pengy's' Russian Steppe Eagle, a new one to me. They're a big bird and remind me of a photo I saw of a 'hunted' Harrier chasing down a pukeko. That bird had some 'curry' on...

I believe those 'express' sights were used more for 'up and bang' (dangerous game) rifles - the wide vee didn't hide/obstruct the sight picture and the front bead sat above the vertical platinum line...

Probably need to blame his parents for that - and I wonder if he ever called himself that ............ or did he just go by the name of Walt, like that Disney bloke did ? Lots of mysteries in this...

Yep - got both my kids Swiss Army knives when they turned eight. The ones I got had all the bells and whistles - and I sharpened them. My older son cut himself ten times in the first week, would...

I blew my eyeball out of my head with gunpowder - they poked it back in but it never worked after that. Shooting a gun left handed was one change I had to make. When shooting the bow my right eye...

That's gotta be a buzz - I got given a bow and after ten weeks I could hit a surf board at 10 metres. I'm left eyed and right handed - and the two don't seem to mix .................... :)
