I'd look for something under 8x for bush hunting. I have a pair of Kowa 6.5x32 BDIIs and they are excellent binos. Super wide FOV and 6.5x is more than enough for spotting animals even at a few...

Had mine a few years now. Very worthwhile buy, reasonably priced and use it regularly to check bore cleaning results. Has improved my removal of copper fouling buildup.

Dont wear your glasses when you shoot. Adjust the Ocular on the scope to suit your eyesight.

Fought this problem for a while - have worn glasses since about age 5 or 6 (bad astigmatism / short sighted). never knew otherwise. Went to progressive glasses around age 40 as vision deteriorated...

You will find your view through the scope will be better. It will help your shooting, squinting trying to get a better sight picture isn't good for your shooting. I find if I can still manage ok...

I've also found I get the parallax issue as well. Sometimes everything's all messed up, same hold but it's like your looking through the scope from an angle. Also get the issue of glasses fogging...

Best to stick with 7mm08 if you already have the components for it, End of the day its all much of a muchness sub 400y. Besides, most of the "old guard" on here will have you believe a 6.5mm bullet...

Remember if you go Creedmoor, you have to grow a manbun too. Stick with what you know 708.

7mm08, or if you want to be really smart- get a 308. Components a bit easier to find in 30 than the others. Or go 243. Has anyone noticed the trend towards 6mm/243 this year?= pill availability.
