    Yep that has been done a hang over from the black powder days, A friend use to load .38 Specials with a scoop made from a cut down case with a handle soldered on worked well,

    WW760 was the powder factory ammo was loaded with when the 7mm08 was introduced in 1980 still a good choice just find a load from the projectile manufacturer you are using and you can't go wrong.
