I run a 007a on three rifles too. I’ve got a 48mm adaptor and use different thickness’s of alkathene pipe as sleeves. just like the pic above. Works well.

Ok, Interesting. there is a conflicting info online about changing scope zero's with a forward NV or thermal attached. I guess the other real issue is cost. You can get a Sytong or Pard rear NV...

I've had my forward clipon shoot from my zero at 100m, to dialed up at 327m and still hit square on where my cross hairs were.

The issue with a forward clip is the change of zero that will most likely occur. Although admittedly I haven't used one I did quite a bit of research on this before going to the rear attachment...

I think I have only seen one forward mounted NV unit from memory. It was a pulsar, certainly not common at all to have a forward mounted NV unit.

I've used a few resr clip on.. my biggest problem is the extra length towards your eye. I prefer my thermal forward clip on. That's great!
