Easy to make a good detachable one, wish I still had a sewing machine! Cut a piece of canvas to the shape of your bonnet, maybe even another as the top, stitch together with a piece of fleece or...

There was always one question that trips people up - would you use a firearm to defend yourself? One answer has been 'not if it's in the safe cause it will take too long to get the damn thing out,...

Just a variation on a theme, but after seeing your tests I think I've settled on the punch shape for my setup as well. I was using a 60deg lathe centre, but am now using a simple 28deg cone with a...

I am very impressed with your work. World class and on a par with the late Pat Neville. Keep it up! During my fairly long gunsmithing career I made a great many stocks, and while they were fairly...

Yep that's what the brackets were for around the P14 bit:thumbsup:, my intention was to answer the quest for real world loads. Obviously with the data set shown its not a Mk 7 load (higher Velocity)...

Without going to my shed to check, your load seems about right. From memory I used 37.5 gr of 2206H behind 174 fmj’s. Pretty sure 2206H is very popular in Au.
