Not correct. The Arms Regulations says this:- 12 Identification numbers (1) A person who imports into New Zealand a firearm, pistol, pistol carbine conversion kit, prohibited firearm,...

About 8000 submissions done I heard , they were probably just an avenue to have a say but in reality make no difference on the changes planned ahead . I did one , even if it makes no difference ,...

I suspect you're right about political ambitions ( i.e. Cahill ). Police are quoted as saying taxpayers have been subsidising the Firearms Licensing system to the tune of hundreds of million of...

That is the real news here - the Police Assn acting as the mouthpiece of the Govt. I wonder if there are any political ambitions lurking anywhere near Mr Cahill? (shades of Greg O'Connor maybe?) ...

Not really a good look for Backlanz (and I actually have one - good product) because you really do have a conflict of interest. Bagging and undermining other businesses really does annoy me. There...

My thoughts too. The TECT NZDA range goes out to 300m (with a 900m one in the works), have open days once a month where any FAL holder can pay to use with good range officers to support.

Tokoroa shooting complex. Once a member you pay subs and a key every year and can pretty much shoot any time

I couldn't imagine having to travel etc just to shoot I think I'd give up if I had to. Have little range here on the farm 100 for sighting then a few gongs out to 700. Makes load development easy...

There'll be no winning of the war when shooters keep allowing gradualism to take effect on their chosen sport. Inch by inch. Today's calibers will be banned tomorrow.

That in itself raises an interesting proposition. Should Police lose their jobs if they are caught speeding? If not, why not? If FAL holders are held to a higher standard than Police, what right do...
