+ 1 for MTN mountain bipod. Really rate it, used it lots shooting steel out to 700 and it’s very solid. And it’s even better in awkward positions while out hunting.

Really rate my MTN mountain bipod, have used Harris for years and tried a backlanz. The MTN is so easy to get on and off quickly and is hands down the most versatile for using in awkward hunting...

I haven’t tried the DPT version, but have a Maniatis version and it is really good, very quiet and the recoil reduction is great. Have it on a tikka 7mm rem mag in a carbon stock replaced my muzzle...

They are a great tool for culling / getting meat but using them for trophy hunting on public land like a lot of guys do doesn’t sit right with me.

Go through the Kuiu warranty process, it’s really easy and they will most likely just post you out a replacement then you can get yours repaired at twinneedle and have a spare.

As others have said I would check that it is sitting correctly in the stock / recoil lug and not over torque it when putting it back in the stock. I also recently had an issue with a tikka 7mm...

Yep couldn’t agree more, use the same in a tikka 308 with a dpt and VX3, constantly half to 3/4 MOA regardless of clean dirty hot or cold, never had anything like it with factory ammo.
