tetawa if your permit is still current it is fine. Doc did not cancel permits, they only suspended them for level 3.

The .375 is ballistically very similar to the 30/06, but with a bit more ooommppphhh. Seeing as dangerous game aren’t really a consideration in NZ, use the same scope you would use on a 30/06.

162 is the optimum weight in 7mm mag. You don’t gain enough by going to 180gr. What you gain in BC you lose in velocity and extra recoil. To really get the advantage of 180’s you need more case size....
