    Big thing is to not over lube it. Just a drop of oil or very light spray of silicon lube on top of the bolt. Too much just makes the action bind up with the blow back powder.

    You don't need to clean the bore, it's a .22. Just squirt some oil in the action occasionally and when it gets real filthy and gummed up with carbon, spray it out with something like aerosol contact...
