I like the look of that furry rest shown in pic above Tahr .... not sure how you get on with attaching it to the rail, and it probably a bit heavy for most :thumbsup:

thanks yes keen to maintain the convex grind, I have seen people suggesting using finegrit sandpaper on a soft backing like a mouse pad any thoughts on that?

Tahr is talking 351 full 36 inch yards. A Dundee yard is only five inches. It is all relative though as Tahr is a fully grown man and Dundee is a half grown dwarf. Ha ha ha ha.

Nah I haven't weighed it separately but it's a heavy bugger. Rifle feels much lighter now. The action/barrels are pretty solid on the B14 so they're not a super lightweight but damn I'm impressed for...
