I just ordered a new custom 6x45 reamer today with zero free bore so it should shoot a wider range of bullets better with less jump.

The reason for the lower BC bullets is that the vast majority of 270's are 1 in 10 twist so anything more than 140gr is borderline to stableise

Funny you should say that, I run the 3"winchester #6 in the first barrel with an improved choke and a 3" #4 in the second barrel full choke. I couldnt find any #4s in the super X so picked up a box...

16gr gave 2350 fps and 18gr gave 2594 fps. Those two powder charges werent quite as tight on the grouping but still quite acceptable at .6 inch, the 14gr load was .3 inch!

Just doing some load development this morning... pretty stoked with this load, its nowhere near max but 2500fps with the 270gr speer and I think I've got the hang of shooting it now :) that'll do me!...
