Well I have lived in southwest Montana my whole life, and have been hunting and fishing with my family since I could walk. I've been hunting since I was 10 and have spent a lot of time chasing elk...

Four hundred yards is still a bloody long hunting shot.

I had a T3 300wm and rebarrelled it to 7mmrm mainly for less recoil in the light rifle (I don't use a brake or can). Both killed stuff real good.

Surely by doing that to your barrel it's dangerous? I've seen this before from a 300wsm in my gunsmiths workshop, in fact looking at the photo it might be this very rifle! Some guy brought the rifle...

I don't plan on using a bipod on mine. Having a bipod, and all the other stuff hanging off it like we usually do kind of defeats the point of a light handy rifle. I didn't buy a light gun so I can...

Firm grip on the fore end, is my go to. But I’d same for ultralight or standard weight stocks, so maybe just me. Brake or suppressor will help with muzzle jump, but brake design (radial vs side...
